大嶺村迄今已有800多年的歷史，有著特色鮮明的嶺南水鄉自然風光和底蘊深厚的優秀傳統文化，是廣州市唯一的“中國歷史文化名村”。

  規劃堅持以保護村落歷史文化遺存、建設“美麗鄉村”示范村和促進村落可持續發展為目標，提倡倡村落的可持續發展，歷史保護與旅游觀光等現代城市功能有機結合。

he Plan aims to conserve the historic heritage of Daling Village, set up an exemplary village for the undertaking of “Beautiful Villages” and promote the sustainable development of the village.

The Plan defines the “purple lines” for the conservation of historic conservation zones, cultural relic conservation sites and listed buildings in Daling Village. It also includes regulatory requirements respectively on the key conservation areas, the construction control zones and the environmental coordination zones.
