Bei Jing Lu area baosts the origin of the city’s 2,000+  years of history, the seat of the prefectural administrative offices in the past dynasties, and more importantly, the center of Lingnan culture.

The Plan proposes an innovative mode that integrates culture, tourism, planning and implementation to encourage interaction and joint efforst among stakeholders. It attaches importance to public participation, mixed development and synergy and tries to avoid massive demolition and convergency. 

The Plan strives to make the construction of Bei Jing Lu area an important move in upgrading the metropolitan area of Guangzhou and the showcase of Guangzhou as a renowned historic city.
